When you run out of tetra grease - go to the shoe repair store, that's right, the shoe repair store and get some Kiwi Mink Oil - open up the little round tin before you buy it
and smell the stuff and then put some on your finger - it is the same stuff more or less
without teflon (I have a tube right in front of me right now)
I was smelling some Hornady's Unique about 2 weeks ago and I swear that smell was very familiar but I could not put my finger on what it was - 4 in the morning I am laying in bed , and bingo it came to me - so I ran to the kitchen and opened up a can of kiwi mink oil and took it over to my buddy's shop who is one of the top benchrest shooters in the United States, Lewis Winkler is his name - he has a gun shop in Lenore, NC he has won way over 150 events in his 60 years of shoooting - he builds benchrest bullets and hunting bullets for 280 shooters all over the US - so I put the mink oil in an unmarked tin and told him to reload a .308 for me. He said it worked great - He was really surprised when I took out the Kiwi tin.
we have a website www.championsbrand.com - My grease and oil products are excellent - we were the grease and oil guys at the 1000 yard international benchrest championships several weeks ago in NC - my other cleaning products are new to the reloading market and my media modifier product ultra-60 will clean your brass in an hour and you don't have to have a cement mixer - though I would like to have one anyway for mixing corn and walnut media together since I feel it is the best combo to quickly clean brass
