    Smile start in this great forum .308

    Hello friends I am LEO i start in recharge I love hunting deer, i have a .308 bullet which is the bestbullet for this type hunt ?

    Welcome to the forum LEO.

    That kinda depends on what your rifle likes best, how big the deer are there, and what ranges need to be considered. Also it helps to know what kind of action and the twist rate of the barrel. Probably 150gr is the best all-around weight in the .308 out to 200 yards or more for deer sized game. That said, anything from 125 right up through 180 will do the job. What do you normally shoot in it and how well do they group?

    i don't know what's available where you are but the hornady 150 gr. interlock.
    bullet is hard to beat for deer and hogs [carnitas]
    velocities in the 2700to 2800 fps.range are your best bet.

    tanks very much for you answers friends , i shot at white tail deers , I see that the best shot may be 150 gr, too want to know whether these bullets are good with loads subsonic, you can advise me a good mold for these bullets?

    Lee makes a good 160 grain gas check mold for a .308 caliber. Depending on your alloy it will average +/- 3 grains or so.
