Hope that all who were in the path of the storm in VT and NH the past 2 days are OK

Floods and power out all around us, but we're on relatively high ground here, not even a damp basement. The power flickered once yesterday and the other half of the neighborhood lost power, but not us. Neighbor's trees fell across our garden and not our garage. We have a piloted gas stove for cooking and a woodstove for emergency heating when the power does go out. Not everyone was so lucky.

2 broken telephone poles and wires down across the road at a 3rd location within 2 miles of my house.
Much debris still on the side of the road. LARGE trees were blown down, but none of mine fortunately.
Lost power from 3AM Monday until 4PM Wednesday.
