Thread: Scratched Resizing Die

    Default Scratched Resizing Die

I somewhat, may be a loose or bent deprimer, scratched my 357 resizing die, so the cases come out with a tiny scrath line. Anybody knows if it is possible to remove or polish out the scratching irregularity without ruining the die? Sending it to manufacturer is out of question; I don't live in the USA.

if you cannot fix it it is not hat big of a deal..

you probably have some grit in the die,or a bitof brass it there
i would try some copper cleaner first, then if not fixed would try polishing it out.
with a cleaning mop like for a 410,and some light polishing compound.
