Default .263 Dia. "Texan" 100 gr. Spire Points

Found a opened box (99) of these while re-organizing my stuff. Tried to load some in 6.5x55 once fired cases from S&B and RP and the neck won't hold the bullet - they're just too darned small. Can't even hold 'em long enough for the "Factory Crimp Die" to grab 'em. Anyone have a suggestion on how to use up these bullets?

Did you fl size or neck size the cases? I had a slightly undersized batch of "bargain" 7mm bullets last year that would not stay in ns cases, but they worked after I ran the cases back into the fl sizer with the expander/decapper removed. That reduced the neck enough to hold them. Accuracy was abysmal, but they seated, then fed and fired normally.

i have a compressed powder charge in my .308 that i have to remove the
expander from my neck sizer to keep the bullets seated in the cases i had to use
    over.005 neck tension.
you could also turn down an old expander to about 260-261.
