32 ws
I have been in touch with another board about reloading 32 WSp with cast. I have just reloaded 174 grain, gas checked, over 25 grains of IMR 3031. The 22 grains of IMR 3031 worked good with no leading. I set up the Lyman 4500; love it. Got to get shooting more as I am only going every 3 weeks or so.
I'm interested to know what charge level the rifle prefers when it comes to a final consensus. I will be loading for one this fall with same powder/bullet and will be curious to see if they have similar tastes. I have probably reloaded close to 5000 .30-30's over the years but have never owned a .32spec or loaded a round for one. (I have had the die set for over 30 years though.) Lee still has .32spec factory crimp dies on their website - they did a special (no pun intended) run of them and still have some left. I got one.

Thanks for the info on Lee crimp. I just purchased one for 308 Norma Mag and it is a life and brass saver.
