dillon square deal question

I'm going to post here even though there haven't been any new posts here for over 30 days. Maybe I'll start something.
Any way I have come across a Dillon square deal reloading press and would like to know if anyone has had experiance with one (good or bad)? I can't tell if the one I found is complete or not so I need to know if there are any really expensive components of it that may be missing or damaged that would make this a bad deal. Any comments or suggestions??

hey loe i would check the dillon website about parts.
if you set these up and leave them as a one caliber [dedicated]
machine they are great and dillons service is really good also.
i know some guys have loaded well over 100,000. rounds on these!
i prefer the 550's myself.

I live near the Dillon factory and run over to their place anytime I need something, they are great to work with and they DO stand behind their LIFETIME warranty. If you buy the press, you can ship it back to them and they will completely rebuild it and set it up for the caliber installed in the press for free.
I have a 550B press that they rebuild after 500,00 reloads, better than when I bought it used 10 years ago.
Like runfiverun said, the Square Deal is better suited for leaving it set up for one caliber only.

I have a Square deal "B" and have used it for over 2 years, as a Retired Toolmaker I can tell you up front they are well thought out and Fabricated of good Quality Material and The Workman ship is equal to anything I would be proud enough to put my name on, I load 40 S&W, 10mm, 45 Acp,45 Colt and the only problem I had was not because of the press it was because of the components I was using, the problem was in the 45 colt, I was using .452" Jacket Hollow Point Bullets and in my S&W MountainGun the Bullets were backing out of the case from recoil because of the lack of enough crimp, the problem was finallysolved by usin g the 45 ACP Resize die on the 45 colt cases, which gave the colt casesa bit of an hour glass look loaded but it cured my problem. the dieof the dillion press in 45 colt is intended for .454" lead bullets, not the jacketed bullets I chose to use, and due to the fact I don't like shooting lead I had to do something that would work for me.

Back to the press if you have any reason to think the press is not up to snuff Dillon has a Lifetime Garentee on their presses and they will rebuildor recondition it for you and if I remember correctly the only charge is in shippingit to them but a phone call would confirm thator an e-mail.
