New Hornady manual has bunny loads. Two of the loads are 6 grains of Trail Boss and 6 grains of CFE pistol under a 40 grain V max with a small rifle primer (CCI). What do you think? I loaded 6 of each to try out.

Tell us what you find.

I have been to 2 ranges on different days and I am upset (LOL) as they were full. Christmas was good to firearm manufacturers. I saw an elderly couple who had a new pistol for the Mrs. getting ready to shoot. What a wonderful world we now have thanks to our politicians. I worked eat Academy for the holiday season, great discount, and they sold more firearms than ever before.
I got to the range yesterday. The new pistol is becoming my favorite. The Cougar did not jump, the grip is for me and there were no failures. Now to the bunny loads. I started with the regular 55 grain. The 64's were 3 to 4 inches load and did not group well. The Trail Boss loads were 7 inches low with 1.5 MOA. The CFE was close to POA and grouped 2 MOA. More work needed. Folks at the range raved about the Rem 722 in 222. Offer of a tomahawk and 1500 pounds of lead offered. All offers declined. There is a Redfield peep sight and it works great.
