    Default Funnel cloud

Last Sat during the furious storm my neighbor Steve and I saw a funnel cloud trying to form. What a sight. Thank God it only got 3 or 4 twist to it. I do not want to ever see another tornado.

Not a priority of mine either! But if worse came to worse, buckshot ought to work on those flying monkeys though.

Ditto, likewise. I really really hate those rotating clouds.

Have fun going through PA. I noticed less marked cars but more unmarked.

Love my work truck for the highways.... I have Muni tags too. They let you alone.

Muni plated trucks got 15-20 mph in NH! Less work that way, the bastards!

There are worse hazards up here than speed traps. Modern North Woods Yankee Proverb: Better a ticket, deserved or not, than 900 pounds of moose through your windshield.

And if you duck quickly enough it doesn't take your head and upper torso with it as it peels the roof off your now former vehicle. Tickets are seldom fatal, but the odds are nowhere near so good when you hit a moose even at moderate speeds in a small car or even in a full sized pickup truck unless either your reflexes are very fast, your luck exceptional, or both.

Moose meat is nothing to turn down and I have some in my freezer now that my teen daughter's best friend hit a few weeks ago. It's awfully expensive though when you consider it.

Passenger car vs. 650# cow moose @ 55-60mph. Moose: 350+#'s in freezers. Car: totaled, Girl: shaken up and a few bruises but fine (she ducks quickly, headrest bent over behind seat by the steering wheel, braked the car to a stop from the passenger seat, moose ended up in the trunk, mostly). I'd rather pay a hundred tickets. Speaking as a parent, I wish I could afford damned AMRAP's for these kids to drive, we wouldn't lose so many of them.
