    Default Rare Treat

Today I got to fire a BEAUTIFUL vintage Mannlicher with double set trigger. What a joy to shoot! It's a work of art, ivory and ebony inlay, ebony forend. I would love to get one for myself some day. This was made in the early 50's in .270, but my dream rifle would be a prewar model in 6.5MS. Some day. For now I will enjoy my old Greek milsurp in 6.5. Even if it will only function as a single shot, looks like it had been run over by several tanks, and is really not restorable it is still subMOA, and it's still a Mannlicher. Happiness is a relative thing.

No bolt works as smooth and slick as a Mannlicher. The ultimate hunting rifle. Sometimes you can believe what you read. The only smoother bolt than these are the K31 straightpull,
