    Default Getting started reloading with RCBS equipment.

    Is there anyone out there that wouldn't mind helping me set up a few die sets for the first time thanks.my question is 9-m seater plugs came with 2 for reloading full metal jacket I would use 38/RN or 9 m TMJ thank you.

    Welcome to the Guide George.

    If I understand your question, use the seating plug that most closely matches the nose profile of the bullet you want to load. Sometimes it's not a perfect match, but as long as you are not distorting the bullet during the seating process you're OK.

    Thank you for the help that is what I though.now I stuck a 9 m case in my sizing die!

    You stuck a 9mm case in a carbide sizing die? Did the case rim tear off?

    I hate when that happens. My first stuck case was more than enough for me. You need to get an extractor kit to remove it.

    No and I got it out.with the RCBS die I just screwed down the deprimining pin and it nock it right out.thanks again
