    Red face Gas Checks HELP

Can .416 gas checks be used on .410 lead bullets that are designed for gas checks?

If so where can I find them?
    Thank you,
    Pat

    Pat,
IMHO the answer is yes. You can order from www.midwayusa.com. I use them in my .405 Win. on a RCBS 350 gr. FPGC bullet .417 dia. that I size down to .4125 in a Lee push thru sizer (nose first) that I polished out to the .4125 dia. After the check is on and they are sized I then harden them in a convection oven @ 425 for 1 hr. after that I lube them in a .413 sizer in my RCBS LubSizer with HVR lube (requires a heater). With the checks and lube they weigh 368grs. using wheelweights. So they should also size to .410 for you but use the Lee! sizer!
