    Default My M48 8mm mauser load

    44.5 grains IMR 3031
    Hornady 170g RN
    win large rifle primer
    col 2.890
    book says 2500fps

    Shoots about 4" high at 100 yards through my open sights.
    Should be just fine for open sight ranges.

    hay try 175-lee size to.323 lube-liq.alox per lee
    seat gas check inside neck over 25.0 gr 4198 this
    will group 8'' @ 200 yds in a turkish mauser
