    Question Cap & Ball???

    Who shoots them? I traded a sporterized T38 jap for a 1858
new army in 36cal. It's very accurate but the sights are way off.

How much is way? And where is it?

It sounds like a good candidate for kitchensmithing. of course i have no idea how much your T38 was.....
Blackpowder single shots often have driftable front sights which would look great on a 1858... George C. Nonte would have installed one with a triangular file and some elbow grease... I wish I could buy guns cheap enough for that kind of cooking...

I've got an Old Army Ruger but haven't used it for a while.

The barrel is not screwed on far enough it shoots low and around 8"@10y to the right has a post pressed into the barrel will need to weld new blade to the left and file off the original
