Fast powders in magnum loads are usually a bad idea as their pressures can rise sharply depending of conditions and components; and they are not the best choice for accuracy in such application.
I would try it in Target/Cowboy loads for sure, but Hodgdon states it is a 12 gauge only powder:

I wish they gave some kind of explanation... lack of logical argument usually tickles me a lot...

It would be for a light plinking load with a 240 gr cast bullet. I had a friend grab some powder for me, I told him to get titegroup, but he brought back titewad. I don"t load for shotguns, so I guess I'm just stuck with this.
