Default 10 Round Mags are Comming!

For all the 1911 9MM fans out there I received word from Tripp Research they are coming out with a 10 rd. magazine for the 1911 in 9MM that will be IPSC and IDPA legal. Shari Tripp says it will be available early 2007.

Looks like it should be a winner given quite a few of us are discovering how nice the 9MM performs in a 1911.

    Hi Bob,

Glad to see you here too.

I know I've seen ten round conversions for 9mm mags somewhere.
I had some over ten years ago for my .38 Super but since I sold that several years ago I have no idea where I got them.

Since I saw you mention this on the other forum I've been trying to remember but to no avail.

The "Fashion Calibers" seem to come and go but when all is said and done everybody comes back to the 45.

I don't have any 10 rd super mags so I ask what is the difference in the mags over 9MM. The follower? I read somewhere that because the 9MM is tapered or is supposed to be it presents problems going to 10 rds. Apparently the question is one of reliablility. In any event Tripp returned my email with confirmation they would have their 10 rd mag out by the spring of 2007
