    Default .308 Win or 30-06 Spr with Trail Boss Powder

    Just posted same question on Cast Boolits. Curious if anyone has used Trail Boss powder in .308 Win or 30-06 Springfield cast bullet loads. I called IMR/Hodgdon and was told they had done nothing with this powder in 308 or 30-06, and that their recommended start load of 6.5 grains of Trail Boss with 160 gr cast bullets in 30-30 Winchester ammo not a reliable starting point. This is due to fact that Trail Boss is a whole new technology powder that acts differently from other powders.

    So, I'm curious if anyone has tried Trail Boss powder in .308 Win or 30-06 Springfield using 115 gr or 165 gr cast bullets? If so, what load of Trail Boss did you use?
