    Default Win 231 in 9MM

Well I have developed some great consistant loads using Unique for my 9MM pistols. Now looking at Win 231 using 125 gr FMJ bullets for consistancy and accuracy. Has anyone out there spent sometime developing loads using 231 in the 9MM?

Bob I use to shoot 4.3 gr. 231 with a 115 gr. fmj in my 9MM's. (Never had a 125 FMJ) That was the most accurate load in several guns. I went back to a cast boolits because I get better consistancy & cost. Now with the cast boolits I now use Bullseye again. I hope this may assist you.

Thanks Vince for the response. I have some 115 jackets and will try your load. My pet load for 125 gr lead is 4 gr Unique. Very consistant in my four nines. I have some 125 gr jackets and am trying to find some good loads for them in 231. I am also looking at some loads in 231 for the lead as well. Would be nice to find a good consistant load in 231 that matches my Unique load. I get single digit deviations with my 4 gr of Unique. Makes IPSC/IDPA PF as well which is a bonus.

What is your bullseye load in lead?

Bob I am casting a 105 Gr. SWC boolit & size it 357. This is a 357 Lee mold but it is very accurate in the 9 mm. I use 3.8 gr. of Bullseye. It is a light load but I shoot at an indoor range and it is good for punching holes in paper. I can shoot a 2 to 3 inch group an 10 yards off hand. At 60 with only one eye that about the best I can expect. There was a day, I had them in one large hole. I love being old!!??!!
