I do remember the basic three channels

I remember gathering around the radio listening to Tales of The Texas Rangers before we even had a TV. I remember getting confused between that show and The Lone Ranger and I remember the theme song of The Lone Ranger.

When we did get a TV, all I remember was boxing at first. The radio was still more entertaining for a while.

No John, 77 represents a big year in my life. Year I got married and first year in Law Enforcement.

I remember Gunsmoke on radio, George Burns and Gracie Allen. Hopalong Cassidy I think. Amos and Andy, Jack Benny too.

I spent many an evening as a kid with a transistor radio stuck to my ear, listening to a road game for the Sox. Kids now don't even know what a transistor radio is LOL And Doc, remember the wrestling on Sunday mornings on TV? Crusher, Mad Dog Vachonne et al LOL Mark

What is it that I do not remember? I vageuely remember Amos and Andy and Superman on the radio. I also remember the first color T V I bought. I constantly watched the A Team because they had great
gasoline explosions in color.
