    Default Trap load question

I have just started reloading for my 12 gauge, using a MEC jr. I have a question pertaining to powder charges that I could go with. I have been using Winchester AA Super Handicap powder (18 gr) with 1 1/8 loads. These rounds had quite a POP to them in both sound and recoil. I am using Remington STS Figure 8 wads, but I am afraid they wouldn't be long enough if I dropped my powder down. Any suggestions on wads would be helpful. Thank you in advance for any help u can give.

I noticed that none of our shotshell loaders has replied. Things are a bit slow here lately. Unfortunately shotshells are not my area of expertise.

You might also try asking here: http://reloadbench2.mxf.yuku.com/ I know we have quite a few members who load them there.

Please let us know how you make out.
