7X30 Bullets

I just picked up a Win 94 in 7X30 waters,any one have any experience with the cartridge,ie; bullet selection Thanks Doug

A Winchester Model '94 in 7 x 30 Waters!! WOW! That had to be a rebarrel!

Have you shot it yet? I'm absolutely no help whatever in that caliber, but interested in how it works for you.

I played round with this one for a while based on a Martini action & got pleasing results I must admit but the urge to rebarrel got the better of me

I've gone through my notes & come up with Trim to lenght 2.040 Min OAL 2.550

120gn jacketed H322 = Min 26gns Max 29gns
Varget= Min 34gns Max (my notes show a compressed load here ) 37gns

139gn jacketed H4895= Min 30gns Max 33gns
Varget= Min 32gns Max 35gns (compressed )


154 gn H414 (4350) Min 33.5gns Max 37gns


The 139 gn bullet was the best of the bunch in my experiance . I hope this helps
