Welcome to the Guide.
I have experience with neither the round nor the rifle. 'Id ask next door at Cast Boolits.
"Stand your ground.
Do not fire unless fired upon.
But if they mean to have a war let it begin here."
- Capt. Parker, Lexington Militia, April 19, 1775
if you don't find much on the 348
i'd work with either trail boss or h-4895 following the rules set out on their websights.
here's what i used when i had my 71.
taken from lyman.
for a 190 gr boolit i got
2400 20.0 @1600 up to 23.0 @1775
i-4227 20.0 @ 1500--30.5 @ 2123
i-4198 25.0 @ 1675--35.0 @ 2150
or the one i'd work with
i-3031 35.0 @ 1800--47 @ 2325
the 12 twist should hold good accuracy through 2200 ,or more, easily
if you go to a 255
2400 19 @ 1400 --22 @1550
4227 21@ 1425--30 @1825
4198 27-- 38.5 @2100
3031 35--46.0 @2200
the last two low end velocities are @ the same as above.
Thanks for the 348 info
