There is a lot of joy out of wringing out loads for a single shot. Have 3 #l Rugers, and one #3. In addition have a Sav. Bolt single. Have hornet, k-hornet, 22-250, 375 H&H, and 45-70, and all are good cast shooters.

Ditto, have an ancient Savage 219 30-30 and just got an NEF .45 Colt, love 'em both! Something feels good about stepping to the firing line with the action open and three cartridges wedged between my fingers for a go at the gong.

Yes but they don't have rifle a single shot forum,but anyways I love my single shots I have a Ruger no.1, the encorewith 3 pistol barrels 1 rifle and the contender with 3 pistol and 1 rifle barrel,and I love shooting them all.
All I have in centerfire rifles are single shots, and one Encore pistol.

Ah , Singles just about have to be my fav. , I have a Handi-Rifle 6 barrels , a Contender , a Encore , and a Rem. XP love the singles !
I have the same bug. Two old style Contenders, two Encores and Rossi/Brazitech single shot combo.
