Several Pro Kangaroo shooters ,I know over here use the 6mm-223 with great success. They prefer it to using it to the 22-250. Due to the reloading cost factor ! If I'd stayed in the Job for any longer I was considering on my next rebarreling to changing over myself ! They were using 60-75 gn pills & hitting right out at 250yrds with great wind deflecting abilities !Where as I was using a 55gn in the.223 & was calling 200yrds a bloody long shot!

Hey Dave that sounds like a good use for it. I wanted to hit Coyotes a little harder and keep the little powder charge. So far it's doing that. I use the 70 gr. pills to great effect.

My dad has a 6mm/223 and a 22/243 made for fur hunting by a friend of his. Out of the two he likes the 6mm/223 for coyote and target, and believe me with cast THAT IS ONE ACCURATE RIFLE!!!! He is probably going to shoot it in a upcoming match.

It's a funny thing you know back in the early 70's we were playing round one night in the reloading room & we opened a .223 out to 6mm & sat and laughed that it would never take off & that's as far as it went !If we'd only known then ??????
