    You can contact Barnes or set it for your gun I used to have a Remington 760 (stolen) in 270 and loaded them to magazine length . Make sure your length does not put bullet into rifling or it can raise your pressures. Each bullet has a different ogive so you need to check it in your chamber.
    I have a Rem.700 30-06 that has a very long throat but if I seat boat tail bullets just short of the rifling they can come out in the field so I seat them deeper for hunting. They still shoot well at under an MOA . and
