Has anyone got loads for marlin 45-70. ie 300gr jhp and 500gr cast bullet.
And though all guns are different I'm wondering if ya have developed loads with 2 or 3 bullet weights that impact target at same place. Be fun to see what ya got.

Has anyone got loads for marlin 45-70. ie 300gr jhp and 500gr cast bullet.

I use 50 gr. IMR 3031 under a 300 gr. JHP and shoot 1 inch groups all day long with My Guide be Gun.
Accurate, pleasant and it seems to be a good go to start for the 45-70.
Look it up in any manual and I am sure will be pleased.
