new benches on the market

Just wondering if anyone has picked up some of the new portable benches I am seeing on the market. Looking for some feedback, they seem pretty $.

Thinking of making my own, any plans out there?

As someone who bought somebody else's home made setup, look 'em over closely. All the designs have good and bad points, decide what your priorities are.

The ones that pivot are less stable of course than the rigid ones, the light weight ones are less rigid than most heavier units. The best one's I have seen took probably a hundred hours to build and a couple buckets of cash.

Even saw one guy who had in a rather large concrete bench on a HD trailer which had a small crane on it! Slightly beyond what most of us call portable.

Yes, the good ones are not cheap.

You make your choices and get what you pay for. Chose wisely.
