    Default .30-.30 work up

Wanting to work up a load for my Win.94 .30-.30. Have only handloaded for a short time in .223Rem. Had purchased some boolits off of another forum for this weapon. Have never worked with cast boolits before so still learning alot.

I have OregonTrail 170GR TrueShots (with a gas check).
Have numerous powders. Had purchased Win.748 for this, but also have Varget,H355, and titegroup(load .40S&W).

Any ideas on were to begin?????

try 36 grs of the 748 to start. should be around 2,000 fps.
any of the lighter jacketed data usually works well in the 30-30.
26 grs of the 335 would be a good start.
    varget should do well also.
i have used aa-2230,h-414,4895 and many other powders with good results with cast in the 30.
you can hit jacketed velocity with cast if things fit fairly well.
