    D-O-K,
THAT IS GREAT!!!!!!! I remember the first time that I went on a competition, it was a black powder cartridge and I was shooting my dad's rolling block 38/55. To make a long story short I was 3 shots behind the first place winner and would have won if dad did not use the sight setting from his 45/70 on the 38/55, and the sight settings for the 38/55 on the 45/70!!! The first prize was a beautiful Marlin 1895 45/70 cowboy. I came in fourth place and got a very old siver dollar, and I still brag on it today!!! And get to blame it on my dad!!

    Thumbs up

The more we can do to encourage the next generations, the better! Sounds like yours got a good dose of it. Keep up the good work!

D-o-k, not to cast any doubt on your qualities as a father and a firearms instructor but....... what took them so long ?

    Just kidding, congratulations!
Too many kids of this age can't do anything with their hands and are just plain dorks who know everything without being able to explain it.

Next thing is reloading their own match ammo right?

BullshopJunior, I lost a possible first place in an army competition 'cause my chief had the wrong "intelligence" about the type of target used, and took care of setting my sights accordingly... aaaaaarrrrrghhhh too !!!!!
