    Default 300 Weatherby w/WC860 or IMR7383?

Replied to another post. Decided to start a new thread.

Just looking for a light plinking load to start a newfie out right. I also have RL25, RL19, VVn170, IMR4350. Condom bullets available in 147 gr fmj, 165 gr sierra, 174 gr match (pulled) and new remington corelocs 180 gr.

I really like the Core-Lokt bullets for my 300 weatherby. I am working with Reloader 25 right now to find a good load for mine. I really seem to shoot well with sierra bullets also. They are cheap and shoot better than the more expensive ones. Horrible groups with Barnes. I'll try to keep you updated with my finds on R25 (testing 85 gr up to 88 gr)

I'm involved with a similar project involving the 7 RemMag--trying to turn it into a 7 x 57 with accuracy. Sierra 150's and IMR-4350, WC-860 if the loading density is right, and IMR 4320 are on the table.
