    Default saeco lubrisizer

I have just purchased a used saeco lubrisizer. This is an oldie from Cal. I need to know how to take off the old sizing die that is on their. Thanks

    Welcome Hoop.

I believe that model is now made by Star. I'm not much help though as I push-through size everything. I would check next door at CB if you don't get a good answer here.

I e-mailed Redding and they said their punches and dies will fit. They sent me a one page instruction booklet, but didn't help. Thanks

the star is made by magma engineering now.
i think the saeco is more a redding type.
    is there a set screw?
have you tried to heat it up? sometimes the old lube gets really hard and acts like cement.
i have even heard of guys putting them in the oven on a cookie sheet at low temp 125-150 for an hour or two.
a heat gun could do the trick,or boiling it.
    some ideas anyways.
    maybe.

Thanks, all this helped, using my wife's hair dryer did the trick.
