    Default Reloading 9mm

    Hi.
I'm new to this forum. Looks like a good one.

Can anyone tell me if I can reload 9mm with my (Lee) .380 dies?
I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but it may come up soon.

    Thanks,
    Drover

    Welcome to the Guide Drover.

No, I wouldn't try it. You might be able to bell, seat, and crimp, but you couldn't size the case body far enough to feed and cycle properly. Considering that a carbide die set can be had for the price of two boxes of decent ammo, why bother trying to make do?

you could even pick up used set for way cheap at a local shop.
but i would just buy a set of lee carbide dies.
i know the 380 is supposed to be just a short 9mm but i can sure tell if i get a 380 in my 9mm brass when it hits the sizer die.

Thanks guys. I was just wanting to save $20 or so.
Oh well. Time to bite the bullet.

    Thanks,
