    Default Crimping a non-cannelured bullet?

Hi Guys...Versifier's answer to Doug Bowser's question on seating dies mentioned the use of a factory crimp die for "hard kickers". The bullet types that I use have no cannelure, is it reasonable to use a crimp for non-cannelured bullets.

Yes, that's one of the nicer features of FC dies. They need no cannelure for a good firm crimp.

Agree with Versifier. I have lee factory crimp dies for every thing I load. Don't need a cannelure, but they are good guides for seating depth.
