    Default 44 Mag light load

I found some 180 gr. 44's for a buddy of mine who shoots a 44 Mag Marlin lever action. The trouble is there is no data in the speer manual for that light of a boolet. Anybody tried them yet. I want a light recoil so his daughter can shoot it without a massive kick. He also claims that his rifle won't shoot 44 Specials. Anybody tried that either? Joe

    use data for the 200's.
i have a 375 win marlin and it will run and fire 375 supermags just fine.
but i have seen some marlins that wont run 38's through a 357 marked rifle. unless you seat the boolits way out.
my 44 model 92 will run specials, but my 357 wont run specals unless i move the boolits way out.
