    i am planning to start reloading but dont really know what i need to buy. i will be loading 40 s&w, 22-250, 270, 45-70. what do i need?

    the first thing you need is a manual it will explain what and how.
    then a kit like the rcbs one will be a good start.
    you will still need a few things to go with it like calipers and die sets.
    but reading a book will familiarize you with the basics, and give you an idea if you really want to do it.
    don't read the loading data part, read the front that explains what is happening.
