Default 416 rem mag reload help

I'm a newbie to reloading cast bullets. Can anyone suggest or point me towards some recipes for 400 grain cast bullets in the 416 rem mag. I have some unique powder and reloader 15 plus CCI 250 primers. I'm hunting Cape Buffalo in 3 months in Zimbabwe and I wanted to play with cast bullets on the range to get a feel for the gun without the punishment and expense. As I get closer, I plan to switch to full power commercial loads. Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

PS: I've seen some info on using poly-fil with unique in 30-06 rounds but nothing for a 416 rem mag.

    Welcome to the forum Brian.

I don't shoot anything that big or in that caliber, but if I did, I'd want to be shooting nice low power cast loads out of it too. You really ought to ask next door at Cast Boolits. I am sure you can get the info you are needing over there, as well as advice on moulds.
