I have both pistols and don't find the 82 to be that way.
But there is a big difference in the amount/weight of steel from of the trigger to muzzel...the 1911 has more with a longer barrel....82 has...

You guys are making it to complicated.
It's simple...it just depends on the caliber cartridge you are reloading!

I absolutely love this pistol~!!
And I've never seen a review or comment by an owner that was negative...just the opposite, in all cases.
