Beyond whatever Versifier said, the cases will stretch after a bit and won't be short. For practical purposes, you won't notice enough difference to be concerned, unless you're trying to put all of...
Have you tried Re15 and the 168 gr. A-Max?
I also look to see that I don't get any stovepipes, and everything feeds and ejects cleanly...every shot. If it's not dependable, it doesn't much matter if it's accurate or not.
I sold my encore pistol, but ALL of my centerfire rifles are single shots. I usually take a Ruger#1B in 7mm Rem mag or 30/06 A.I.
Oh, but they had strings and lead and rags. I've cleaned many firearms that way when I was younger... put a splitshot on one end of the string and tie a patch to the other, and it worked similar to a...
Get some of those fluorinated bottles from Sinclair. The should do the job and the are about the only cheap (price wise) thing that they sell. I got some and keep my Hoppes #9 in one.
Sorry, I bought a Lyman and all I can do is plug it in or unplug it...
I've been looking at those as they've developed, but alas, finances are at an ebb right now. I'm hoping there will be a silver lining in the cloud that has been my constant companion since my wife...
Try filling the .40 cal cases with molten metal from your pot, they'll end up close to 300 grains. 10 grains of blue dot will be a mild load, and pretty accurate from a SRH..
I don't own nor do I...
Kerosene is part of the Hoppes #9 formulation....

I use the Outers brand. It's not the most expensive out there, and may not be the "best", but i'll let it sit in my bore for about 30 minutes, then brush and scrub and do the regular cleaning...
Sorry to hear that, It worked for me... and his response was very nice...
Mine doesn't "hurt." Not yet, anyway..
I too did an old Montgomery Ward SxS 12 ga., as well as a cheap single shot 20 ga. Savage with Tru Oil. The wood came out looking a beautiful honey blonde color....
I have one . A Ruger #1B, with a Moyers trigger and a Limbsaver. I shoot 150 Ballistic Silvertips from it, and it does quite well for itself. However, I'm not shooting elk or mule deer, so it...

Here's his e-mail... ask him.
Last week I shot a Varmint metallic chicken at 950 yards.... And a varmint turkey @ 600, both with my Savage Model 12 BVSS-S in .308.
I killed a deer @ 250 yards with my 7mm Rem Mag once, and at the range one day I hit a 2x6 on the berm @ 200 yards with my Ruger .45 Colt, after ranging it with 5 other shots..That one was pure luck....
Remember that when you reduce the size of the combustion chamber, in this case the volume inside the brass, you will increase pressure.
That said I seat my bullets for my Colt so that they are...
As much as I hate them, the over-under type mounts should get the scope up high enough to let the safety work..
I do. After I tumble it and get it all nice and shiny I can more easily find defects in the brass that I otherwise may have missed... Every step in handloading is a brass inspection step..
Never had a problem with it down here, and it gets mighty hot here in the summer...
All of my loading is done in an A/C room that's 71* in the winter and a bit cooler in the summer..
I tumble ( or vibrate) my brass after I size and trim it. I haven't had the urge to stick loaded ammunition into the tumbler yet..Probably won't, either...
