Just spent a wonderful afternoon prepping some .223 brass. I actually enjoy it and find it relaxing. But boy did it take forever! I full length resize, clean the primer pocket, and inspect the brass. Then I measure case length and trim. All my equipment is single stage and manually operated. By the time I work through 300 rounds, I'm pretty much done!
Like I said, I do enjoy reloading. But case prepping is got to be the most tedious part of our sport!

It's all part of the hobby/sport. I have my favorite parts and not so favorite parts but I do enjoy reloading. I find it relaxing too. I think my least favorite part is the sore back and shoulders I get after a while. [smilie=b:

there are ways to speed up the process.
dillon makes a sizer trimmer.
lee makes a neck sizer,primer punch.
citric acid and water solution cleans gunk from the brass really quickly.
an rcbs tool turns the primer pocket cleaner depth cutter for you, and champhers on the same machine.
once you do the brass prep it's done, unless you need to trim again.
lymans chamfer and deburring tool fits right on the trimmer and not only saves alot of time but cramping hands as well
I use an RCBS case prep center, but trim manually with a Wilson.
I find that doing more than 100 rifle cases at a time (resizing, tumbling, case prep, and trimming [if needed]) is about all I care to do at a single session. In fact I prefer to do about 40-60 at any one setting.
