I think that if there is no written hunting season established then there is no hunting of that species. But yes, if I knew it was BF and not a person in an ape suit, then I would shoot it.
This came up on another board. http://forum.gofoxpro.com/fp_forums/...hlight=bigfoot
Thought about this a long time and came to the same conclusion as when I saw a bobcat 46 years ago and last year. If I am not going to eat it I will not kill it unless it attacks me. I would kill a coyote in a heartbeat. Coyotes killed my favorite cat. I would gleefully kill coyotes. I once killed a fox which was rabid. My last horse died and I only kill woodchucks which are digging holes under my buildings and damaging them. I do not kill without a reason. :-P
I'd rather have Bigfootses around scrounging an honest living than certain thieving poaching skulking neighbors plus local wildlife. BF and his kin are welcome around here as long as they keep themselves hidden from the tourists and don't mind lending some muscle like any other good neighbors to help us haul deer and moose out of the woods in the fall or off the roads quickly when they're hit (for a fair share of the meat, of course). They're welcome to take what they need out of the garden, too, as long as they don't leave smelly piles in the yard for the dog to roll in. Wish the bear would understand that, too, we'd get along a lot better. If I could gag down bear meat though, it would be a different story..... hmmm...I wonder what Bigfootses taste like.....
Hell no! Do you know how gamey they would taste!!
No, if you can't eat it and it isn't threatening you...
