Tough choice! My top two are both Rugers and I'd hate to be forced to choose just one.
There is the Ruger Super Single Six (6 1/2") .22LR/.22 Mag that I had coated recently after 26 years of service...

Down here in the SOUTH it would have to be my old big ugly Colt New Service 44-40. Riding about on the desert [smilie=2:it sits just fine onder my belt / waist band . With a 205 grain near pure lead boolit and 8 grains Unique I have all the firepower I need and never am worried if I might drop it into the volcanic sand. [smilie=w:
