When I first saw the title I read it with an "i" instead of an "e". (Why do you need seven barrels to sweep your.....?) Spit tea all over the monitor. Losing your eyesight can obviously be as fun as losing your hearing.
I don't watch tv, but that sounds downright dangerous. Caplock, like a three-barrel boarding pistol? Do they all go off at once, or only by accident?
Flint-lock I believe and yes, ALL AT ONCE baby! Set up as a rifle not pistol. Probably just as well the idea of all that recoil in a pistol is ScArY!

I suspect that gun would produce enough recoil to give a man a permanent case of two left arms. It might hurt just to watch someone else shoot it.....
Two people shot it on Pawn Stars... didn't seem excessive. I believe it is strictly a short-range weapon.
They must have loaded it way down. Even a very light charge of like 30gr in each barrel still adds up. Buckshot instead of single projectiles might help too. I still wouldn't want to shoot it.
