What are you shooting cast in?
Doing pretty well with cast in .357mag in rifle and pistol. It the 9mm's got me working extra but learning new tricks to try.
not so new
but new here.
treat the 9m as a 38 that generally makes them work better.
358 boolits, flair with the 38 expander, and some even size with thier 38 sizer die.
all things to try.
Take the time to slug the bore of your 9MM, then size the cast bullet .002" larger than the groove diameter of your bore. Make up a dummy round or two and try them to see if they'll feed and chamber OK. I'm sizing my 9MM cast bullets to .358" and it has made a world of difference not only in accuracy but leading is almost totally non-existant.

I am currently using a Lee 6cavTL124gr mould and have been for over a year. They drop (with my 4/1 pure/WW alloy) at just a tad over .358. I don't have to size them at all and they are good to go with a light coat of LLA. No signs of any leading in a dozen different 9mm's. I wish they made a lighter TL6cav for .380's.
Have tried cast sized from .356-.358 with best results with the .357 size but even those were mediocre at best.I've aquired a 38S&W expander plug for my Lee expanding die.Suspect the cases were swaging my cast bullets down under bore size. Can feel a world of difference seating bullets now.Only worry I had was chambering trouble but then the CZ has a reputation for eating any ammo.Rounds feed just fine.Now...just need time for range test.
