There are a couple threads over @ castboolits I posted some information .
See if I can sum it up as you noticed the bullets are only seated .2" from the factory I have found that the Lee Factory crimp die helps keep the bullets in place and I do not have to regroove bullets. I have RCBS .351 reloading dies standard 38/357 mag. dies seem to work better? the brass is thicker so they still work well for me. Last year I noticed how close 351 cases were to .223 Remington I trimmed some to length and the empties cycled and ejected from my gun. I have loaded those 223 trimmed cases 11 times with no problems but loads are just enough to function action. Bullets are SIZED .357 bullets THAT have been SIZED to .351 diameter I am using speer 160 3/4 Jacket and a Lyman gas checked cast bullet of 162 grs. For loads I start around the maximum for 357 mag. and stop when gun functions.
