It is with great joy I report that our range has finally reemerged from under about eight feet of snow. That ought to give me two weeks before the doc forbids me shooting centerfire rifles pending another drill & blast operation in my back. So I shall sit down and shoot my handguns at 100yds, 12" gong for the carry pieces, 4" for the Contenders. If I refer to my .223 bolt as a ".22 rifle" it ought to keep him happy. I just hope I won't have to learn a new offhand position like last time - I've finally gotten back to where I can hit what I'm aiming at again. Hopefully I won't have to learn to shoot all my rifles sitting, but if that's how the dice fall then I'll just buy more gongs and lower the loading bench.
So, help me keep my perspective. Tell us about where you currently shoot, what you're shooting, what you're loading it with, and what you're shooting it at. It really made a big difference last time.
