 Has anyone tried H- 4350 with 180 Gr.cast projectiles in .30-06 ? Have a listing for IMR 4350 at 45 to 51 gr. from LEE. Seems a little HOT. [smilie=w: Thanks for any help. BIG BEAR.

I have not gotten around to H4350. Yet. But, I have had good results so far with IMR 3031 (best so far), 4064, 4895, and RE7 and several different 180gr moulds: RCBS 180FP, 311291, and Lee C309-180-R. Soon to be tested (when some of the snow melts and I can find the target butts down at the range) will be BL-C(2) as I have a pound of it to play with next. If you think Lee's listed loads may be a little hot, start a little lower, but I have found no problems with them in .30-30 and .308.

tried out my handloads of 180gr.cast/45gr. H 4350 in my .30-06.(Wlr-M primers). mild recoil and 1.5-1.75" 4 shot groups at 100 yards. took a 12x12 fir block to try penatration. clear thru every time. my 220 gr. hornady rn with 51 gr. H 4350 made it thru to 7-8 inches. ( .50 cal 180gr. PRBs made it to 4+ inches )(70 gr. fffg B.P.) [smilie=w: put smile on OLD FARTS face BIG BEAR
