i s it worth while to use g.i.308 cases with all the comm.cases around
you have to swage the primer pockets,you have to cut your loads 10%
the reason i ask is i have 200 of themand i have 140 comm cases i dont have a 308 i had plans but went to 7-08 instad and i dont like to size down cases i worry about pressure [smilie=w:

Yes, it's worthwhile to use them if they're in good shape. They'll last longer that a lot of commercial brass. You don't have to cut your loads by 10%, you have to reduce the charge by that much and them work up watching for pressure signs. There is often more brass and less powder capacity with mil cases, but unless you are using powders that fill the whole case, it's not an issue.

Why would you want to reform them when 7-08 brass is readily available?
