I have come into posession of a box of 12 ga. Ely ammo, seal unbroken. I have never seen this, but realize they are still manufacturing ammo. Just wonder if it might have any collector value, or should I just shoot it? Dale

I didn't find it there. Upon closer examination the seal on the bottom flap was loose, so I opened it up. Five rounds were assorted Remingtons, the rest Ely, so I guess I'll just shoot them. They appear to be paper, but 8 crimped like plastic. I did notice their price on 30 Rem. single rounds. I've got a box I'd like to sell at that price. DALE

I had a box of Ely 2*3/4*" #3 shot. I shot them. Kick hard. I would advise shooting these in a pump, or have something handy to drop down the barrel. I shot them out of my NEF pardner, and some of them got stuck in the chamber. Other then that they performed excellent and rabbits grouse and squirrels.
