I had the pleasure of owning a 16g in a little single barrel years ago but sold it due to the fact that it was easier to get blood out of a stone than Ammo (let alone componants) in AUZ in those days ! I do'nt know how it is these days .But it was a nice little gun to use as I remember

I have a Stevens single shot with the "Tennite" stock that is my absolute favorite Grouse gun. You all know, the one you pack alot, but shoot a little. I'll admit, a grouse isn't much of a challange (anything you can kill with a stick ain't much ) but they eat good. don't have the exact recipe on hand, but I load with #6 shot at mid velocity on a Lee loader, and it works real good for me.
