RWS reloading info

I require reloading date for my 7 x 64 mm mauser I use the RWS brand of bullet as it works great for me, I have A box of copper hollow points at 173 gr.

Let's keep this simple. For all practical purposes, the 7x64 MM Mauser and the .280 Remington/7MM Express are the same cartridge, at least when it comes to load data. If you go back to the Speer #12 load manual, in the upper right hand cornor of page 230 it says, ("Data may be used for the 7x64MM and the Wildcat 7MM-07 cartridges.) Why they dropped that comment in manuals #13 and #14 is beyond me. What I would do if I were you is give Speer a call and confirm that the data is usable.

2.540 is the trim to length of the 280 rem.
it is a bit longer than the 7.62 x 63 [30-06] at 2.494 trim length.
i'm pretty sure that if the action can take the pressure than 280 data is fine.
if it is a weaker action i would use 284 win data in the slightly larger case.
